Streszczenie:
An overview of the new therapy center in construction around the world will be presented. The Catania hadrontherapy center and the rationale of the number of treatment rooms and of gantry rooms will be presented.
The cost of the investment, the number of staff people, the construction time and the expected economic return will be described.
The advantage and disadvantages to use a Therapy center for multidisciplinary research will be discussed too.
