The EAGLE array (central
European Array
for Gamma Levels
Evaluations) is designed
as a multi-configuration detector setup adjustable to the needs of
several research groups, dealing with different branches of nuclear physics,
gathered around the Heavy Ion Laboratory, University of Warsaw.
This website presents the current status of the project.
Until June 2011 EAGLE was equipped with 12 ACS HPGe detectors
and, depending on type of measurements performed, coupled to
ancillary detectors such as SiBall, electron conversion
spectrometer and Coulex
scattering chamber.
Recently our resources have been complemented by 20 Phase-I HPGe detectors
of 70% efficiency loaned by GAMMAPOOL until June 2013. First
EAGLE experiments with GAMMAPOOL
detectors are scheduled for October 2011..
